Social justice possible only with JSP: Actor Shankar

Srikakulam: Social justice will be possible only with Jana Sena Party, said cine star Sesa Shankar alias Shakhalakha Shankar. Participating in an election campaign in Etcherla Assembly segment on Sunday in support of Jana Sena and CPM joint candidate, Badana Venkata Janardhana Rao, he appealed to voters to vote for a change in governance.

He also opposed proposed nuclear power plant at Kovvada in Ranastalam mandal as it would damage the environment. During his election campaign he covered Sesapeta, his native village, A A Valasa, Budumuru and other villages in Etcherla, Laveru, G Sigadam mandals along with CPM leader and its affiliated trade union CITU State vice-president Duppala Govinda Rao. On the occasion, the cine star received good response from youth in his native village Sesapeta and other villages.
