Speaker Tammineni Sitaram vows to development BR Ambedkar University

Srikakulam: Assembly Speaker Tammineni Stiaram assured that he will strive for the development of BR Ambedkar University (BRAU) here. He participated as chief guest at the 11th Foundation Day of the college on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, he stressed on need for improvement of higher education to produce quality output. He gave an assurance for improvement of basic facilities at BRAU like hostel buildings, class rooms and library etc. He recollected that BRAU was established on June 25 in 2008 with the initiative and support of the then chief minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy.

The Speaker also assured to solve issues relating to teaching and non-teaching staff of the university. He said that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is keen on betterment of quality in education at all levels which is basic tool for development and to eradicate poverty. On the occasion, he laid foundation stone for hostel building at BRAU campus. Etcherla MLA, G Kiran Kumar and university officials attended.
