SRKR celebrates founder's birth anniversary

Bhimavaram: SRKR Engineering College founder Sagi Ramakrishnam Raju's 86th birth anniversary celebrations were held on the college premises on Friday. The college secretary and correspondent, Sagi Vithal Rangaraju and vice-president Gokaraju Ramaraju (Rambabu) garlanded the statue of late Sagi Ramarishnam Raju.

Speaking on the occasion, Rangaraju and Rambabu said that the engineering college was established about 40 years back by Ramakrishnamraju in remote village China Amiram near Bhimavaram.

Now the college has developed into one of the world class best institutions. "Our students are in good position in USA and European countries," they said. The college principal in-charge Dr PV Ramaraju presided over the function. Both teaching and non-teaching staff, students took part in the programme.
