Tirupati: Three persons killed in road accident

Tirupati: Three persons were killed in a road accident at Peddapanjani Mandal of Chittoor district on Sunday evening.

They belong to Jittamvari Palle of the Mandal who were coming on a two-wheeler from Budidavai Palle of neighbouring Gangavaram Mandal after attending some rituals there.

When their two-wheeler hit an RTC bus coming from opposite direction at Kogileru, Ramakrishna Reddy (34) died on the spot. The remaining two Raja (43) and Munichandra Reddy (34) were seriously injured and they have been shifted to Palamaner government hospital.

While undergoing treatment there, they both have died. Pedapanjani in-charge SI Sudhakar Reddy has reached the spot with his staff and cleared the traffic. Police filed the case and investigating.
