VHP holds Guru Nanak Jayanti fete in Kakinada

Kakinada: Guru Nanak Jayanti was organised under the auspices of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad here on Sunday. VHP Dharmaprasara Kakinada Pramukh P Raghuram participated in celebrations on the premises of Pidigullamma temple at Dairy Farm Center.

VHP senior leader Garimella Annapoorna Sharma said that Guru Nanak believed that there was only one God and every human was capable of reaching him through sincere prayers and perseverance.

All his teachings were compiled as hymns in the sacred book, the Guru Granth Sahib, she added. Seva Bharati member Seshagirirao, VHP members Ramanujachari, Kalyan Kumar, Bhanoji Rao and others participated.
