Vijayawada: AP police get five awards in Odisha

Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh police secured five awards announced by private organisation in Odisha. According to DGP office on Saturday, the Andhra Pradesh police got five awards for implementation of weekly off, investigation maintenance, Spandana online, best electoral practice and SC/ST PCR-dashboard. DGP Gautam Sawang congratulated the police on winning five awards in Odisha. The IT minister of Odisha government presented the awards on Friday. It may be noted the Andhra Pradesh is the first state in India in implementation of weekly off to the police and been successfully implementing Spandana programme to collect grievances every Monday.
