Vijayawada: District Collector Mohammad Imtiaz flagged off a rally to create awareness

Vijayawada: District Collector Mohammad Imtiaz flagged off a rally to create awareness on Coronavirus on Eluru road here on Wednesday.

The Collector, along with SRR and CVR Government College Principal Velaga Joshi, staff and students participated in the rally.

Later, addressing the students, the District Collector said Coronavirus spreads in the public places and appealed to the students to be on high alert.

He said the virus spreads due to sneezing, cough and asked the students to wear mask, wash hands frequently and avoid meeting people in public places without taking safety measures.

He assured that the government would take all the necessary precautions to prevent its spread and asked the people not to panic.
