Vijayawada: Megha opens CNG outlet at Kotturu Tadepalli

Vijayawada: The Megha Gas, the gas distribution arm of the engineering giant Megha Engineering and Infrastructure Ltd, started its compressed natural gas (CNG) outlet at Kotturu Tadepalli on the outskirts of the city on Wednesday. It may be recalled that Megha Gas is supplying CNG at Agiripalli, Nunna and Kanuru on the outskirts of the city.

G Raj Kumar, manager of Megha Gas inaugurated the CNG outlet on the premises of Bharat Petroleum outlet near YSR Colony on Kotturu Tadepalli road to provide CNG to the auto rickshaws and cars.

Following an agreement with the Bharat Petroleum Corporation, the Megha Gas is supplying CNG at the petroleum bunks at Gollapudi and Ibrahimpatnam and through an agreement with Hindustan Petroleum at Kankipadu and through Indian Oil Corporation at Nidamanuru, Gannavaram and Pinapaka villages, he said.

Megha Gas would supply CNG through Indian Oil Corporation at Gunadala, through Hindustan Petroleum at Mylavaram filling station in near future, Raj Kumar said and added that efforts are on to find two more places to start gas filling stations.

Megha Gas officials Mahalakshmi, Y Rajendra, Phani, BPCL dealer Murali and other officials were present.
