Vijayawada: Students excel in essay writing, painting

Vijayawada: Nearly 200 children from 40 schools joyfully participated in the National Science Day celebration organized at the Science Centre in Bhavanipuram on Friday.

The event was conducted under the supervision of District Science Coordinator Mynam Hussain. The students participated in the drawing, essay-writing competitions and exhibited their models.

MLC KS Lakshmana Rao inaugurated the competitions. Krishna district education officer MV Rajyalaxmi presented the prizes to the winners. Deputy education officer L Chandrakala and others attended the event. The students presented the exhibits and joyfully participated in the celebrations.
