Visakhapatnam: Customs facilitates hassle-free clearance

Visakhapatnam: Visakhapatnam Customs at Visakhapatnam International Airport and Vijayawada Customs at Vijayawada International Airport had facilitated a hassle-free clearance of 459 passengers under the Vande Bharat Mission.

On Tuesday, two batches of passengers – 148 from Abu Dhabi and 166 from Manila processed through Vizag Customs. Further, 145 passengers from London were cleared from Vijayawada airport by Vijayawada customs officers. All Covid related precautions and protocols were followed.

Chief Commissioner of Customs Naresh Penumaka had stated that all customs facilities in the State of AP continue to work 24/7 to ensure quick and hassle-free clearance of essential cargo to facilitate trade.
