Visakhapatnam: Sainik School Korukonda celebrates Navy Day

Visakhapatnam: Sainik school Korukonda celebrated the 'Navy Day' with great enthusiasm at Sainik School Korukonda on Wednesday. Colonel A M Kulkarni, Principal and Wing Commander C S Bhanuprakash graced a special assembly conducted on the occasion.

At a special assembly held to commemorate the day, the Officers, Third Officer NCC JD Coy Meher Srini, and cadets spoke on the occasion highlighting the role and importance of the Indian Navy.

The Principal exhorted the cadets to join the Indian Navy which provides a quality life and a platform to serve the nation. A documentary film on Indian navy was shown to the cadets soon after the special assembly to motivate the cadets towards joining the Indian Navy.

Later, a cake cutting ceremony was organised which was followed by a special lunch.
