We Follow The CM's Directions on Raithu Bharosa: State Levels Bankers Committee

After the State Level Bankers Committee (SLBC) meeting with CM Jagan Mohan Reddy, the SLBC representatives made it clear that they would follow the directions given by the chief minister. They spoke at a media conference held at Vijayawada on Monday. Banks do not debit the money deposited to the beneficiaries under Raithu Bharosa scheme.

"We have decided to give away Rs 84,000 crore of agricultural loans for the year 2019-20. Within the first three months, 61 per cent of loans were given to farmers. We are holding statewide meetings from October 3 to 7 to reach more clients. The merger of banks is a central government's decision. It is not in our hands to oppose the merger. Whatever the decision of the central government, we will stick to it." said an official.
