Woman kills lover with another boyfriend in Chittoor district

Punganuru: A woman has killed her lover over unable to bear his harassment with the help of another boyfriend. This incident has come into light under Punganuru police station limits on Sunday.

Speaking to press reporters, Punganuru DSP disclosed the case details and presented the accused in front of media. The couple Khadar Basha and Mallika Banu reside at MSR theatre area here in the town.

Mallika Banu left Khadar and started living with another man Shabbir. He continuously harassed her over becoming addicted to bad habits. Shabbir forced her to bring money for his enjoyment.

With this, Mallika Banu has murdered Shabbir with the help of her another boyfriend Sheikh Chand Basha on August 21. While Shabbir was sleeping at home in a drunken state, both killed him by tightening a cloth around his neck.

Later, the body was taken to Krishnapuram forest area in Chand Basha's bolero jeep and burnt it with petrol. On receiving information of unidentified body at Krishnapuram forest area, the police have booked a case on August 29 and started the investigation.

DSP said that in the investigation, the police identified the body was of Shabbir and traced the evidence that Mallika Banu has murdered him with the help of her boyfriend Chand Basha. He said the two accused were arrested by CI Madhusudan Reddy and SI Arun Kumar Reddy near Bhagat Singh colony in the town.
