Yi Amaravati launches Book Donation Wall

Vijayawada: CII's Young Indians Amaravati Chapter under its Yuva Vertical, has set up a book donation wall, first of its kind in Vijayawada at Trendset Mall here on Saturday. The objective of the initiative is to set up a place to collect books comprising different genres and donate them to government schoolchildren and orphanages.

Bhaskar Nannapaneni, Chairperson of Yuva, Yi Amaravati launched the first book donation wall on Saturday in the city. Saathvik Chukkapalli, Chairperson of Yi Amaravati, Teja Bodepudi, co-chairperson, Yi Amaravati, Tarun Kakani, mentor of Yi Amaravati, members and citizens from Vijayawada took part in the initiative and donated books. About 11 venues have been identified to launch the book donation walls in Vijayawada between June 8 to 15.

Yi Amaravati Chapter under its Road Safety Vertical has launched a 'I Buckle up for my Family' campaign in Vijayawada to create awareness about wearing seat belt while driving. The objective of the initiative is to encourage citizens to wear seat belts while driving vehicles and promote road safety.

P Bhanuchandar, Chairman of Road Safety, Yi Amaravati has launched a poster to promote this initiative. Pictures of citizens wearing seat belts while driving will be shared on social media platforms to create awareness about road safety while driving and also encourage more people to follow.
