Bank of Maharashtra's programme

Hyderabad: Bank of Maharashtra, celebrated 'Vigilance Awareness Week' from October 28 to November 2, 2019 with a theme "Integrity- A way of life", at all its offices and branches.

The Vigilance Awareness Week is being celebrated as per the guidelines of Central Vigilance Commission. A concluding ceremony of 'Vigilance Awareness Week' was organised on Saturday at bank's Zonal Office, Hyderabad.

The programme was presided over by D Prashant, Inspector of Police, Cyber Crime Dept., Hyderabad, Telangana. Divesh Dinkar, Zonal Manager and J D Deshmukh, Dy. Zonal Manager – Hyderabad Zone, all the Staff of Zonal Office and Branch Heads in Hyderabad City participated in the programme.

Chief Guest D Prashant, emphasised on the need for Bank staff to be vigilant in all aspects of their operations with regard to KYC, due diligence for new customers.

He stated that if proper preventive measures are taken most of the frauds can be averted.

Staff alertness is very much required in day-to-day working, particularly in the light of very high number of cyber-crimes involving huge amounts perpetrated by fraudsters by misusing the internet platform and latest cyber technology.
