Agentic AI is faster and bigger than any other S curves in the past. It will add armies of not just frontline and backoffice AI employees (worker agents) to the business but also pseudo managerial employees (master agents) that will supervise vast operations like loan EMI collections for a bank, car test drive bookings for a manufacturer or rescheduling calls at an airline, etc. As we embrace Agentic AI, we all should resolve to learn how to be more human in the age of AI and focus on the visionary picture and complex multi-domain work for humans and leave the drudgery and clockwork operations to low-cost AI agents. Hence upskilling for leveraging AI use and developing analytical thinking and language skills will be of paramount important for every individual.
