World Thalassemia Day is celebrated every year on May 8th to commemorate Thalassemia victims and to encourage those who struggle to live with the disease. To commemorate the occasion, Bollywood celebs have also taken to their social media handles.

Celebrities like Hrithik Roshan, Sonakshi Sinha, Kunal Kapoor, Huma Qureshi, Saqib Saleem, Abhishek Bachchan and more uploaded pictures of half of their faces and urged everyone to get tested for Thalassemia and avoid giving their child half a life.
