Is this Nagarjuna's remuneration for Bigg Boss Telugu Season 3?

Nagarjuna is not on top of his box office game at the moment as his Officer movie couldn't save face. Before the movie, he had one below average grosser in Raju Gari Gadhi-2 and disaster in Om Namo Venkatesaya.

He made a grand appearance as the host of Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu between Manam and Soggade Chinni Nayana, which helped him to secure family audiences again with his charm.

Now, he did make a comeback with Devdas but the movie is a commercial failure even though it could collect close to 35 crores share. At this point of time, Nagarjuna needs Manmadhudu-2 to be a hit or an offer from TV that will again help him get close to young, family audiences.

Even though he doesn't like Bigg Boss concept he decided to go ahead and work as a host, as he could make Rs. 12 Lakh per episode deal which is highest any host on Telugu TV made, till date. Jr. NTR could only get Rs. 10 lakhs/ episode but that was a record price at that time.

Seems like StarMaa stretched deep into their pockets to get Nag on board. Season 3 of Bigg Boss will start airing from 21st July 2019!
