Shankar planning to direct Rajini again

Superstar Rajinikanth and director Shankar had earlier for the films Shivaji, Robo and 2.0. According to the latest sources, the duo is all set to join the hands again for a couple of more films. Apparently, the first one of both will start once Shankar gets done with Indian 2 and Rajini finishes Murugadoss' project.

The first film in their combination would be on the lines of Shivaji, an action entertainer with an underlying social message. The second film would be a science fiction which is loaded with heavy VFX work. It requires a minimum of ten months of pre-production work.

Thus, the movie will kickstart its pre-production works when the first film's shoot is underway. Shankar is planning to wrap these two films as soon as possible and release them in the next three or four years. Stay tuned for more updates regarding these projects.
