Confirmed: Mahesh Babu not acting in Acharya

Mega Star Chiranjeevi is currently busy working on an exciting film titled Acharya. Acharya is one of the films that is carrying a positive buzz even before the release. Koratala Siva is the director of the movie and the film marks his first time association with Chiranjeevi. The film unit already shot major sequences and is now looking at coming up with the other important scenes that involve another star hero.

The makers finally dropped the idea of having Mahesh Babu on board. Mega Powerstar Ram Charan plays the role as per the initial plan. After a long time, Chiranjeevi and Charan will be seen together in the movie. Ram Charan is also producing the film along with Matinee Entertainments banner.

The film has Mani Sharma as the music director. Trisha walked out of the film due to creative differences.
