Maharshi Latest Box Office Collections Report

Superstar Mahesh Babu starrer Maharshi is breaking all the existing records and setting up the new ones, in the domestic market It is all set to enter the 100 crore share club as well, very soon. But, the film is disappointing with its performance in the overseas market.

Generally, all of Mahesh's films do extremely well in the United States and that is the reason why is known as the king of overseas. But Maharshi failed to reach the expectations there. The film collected a total amount of $1.74 million till date. There are chances of it running for one more week.

Thus it might end up somewhere near $1.8-1.9 million. This is not enough as the rights were sold for a higher price and distributors of the US are expected to incur a loss of around Rs. 2 crores. That is a very huge loss, especially being a star hero film.
