Mahesh-Rajamouli project: More delay expected!

Superstar Mahesh Babu is currently busy working on the film Sarkaru Vaari Paata. Parasuram is the director of the film. The actor did not sign any new movie yet but is in talks with multiple directors including Trivikram Srinivas. There is a talk that Mahesh Babu will work with Rajamouli.
The project is in the talks for a long time but there is no official announcement yet. The project was supposed to kick off in 2021. With COVID regulations, everything came to a stop.
Mahesh's film with Rajamouli has now been delayed. As per the reports, it takes one and a half year for the film RRR to get wrapped up. Mahesh will finish his next film in the meantime.
Most likely, the film will kick off in 2023. Rajamouli has the line ready but he is yet to finish the complete script. Durga Arts will produce the film.
