The delights of the west

When you say western Ghats the hill range that more or less traverses the entire western peninsula; it predominantly covers the states of Kerala, Maharastra, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Tamilnadu, Goa and Gujarat – each a culinary paradise on its own.

The new Executive Chef at the Mercure Hyderabad KCP, Dipak Adhikari through his journey as a chef has travelled most of the west coast and together with his team, he created a mouth-watering menu of popular dishes during the "Western Ghats Food Festival" at Cayenne.

Gastronomic delights from these vibrant states of India including Goan fish curry, Tamda pandra rasa, Murgh ka soweta, Bombile rawa fry, vegetable gassi, varieties of dhoklas and farsan, pakodis and vada pav, meen moyile, stew and appam – a longlist of dishes from which the chef chooses a bunch full to be featured for dinner buffet menu. April 28 is the last day of the food festival.
