Interestingly, the channel is run by a police official, Gaddam Mallesh, Sub-Inspector, Central Crime Station, Hyderabad. Speaking of the reason for starting such an exclusive channel on cyber attacks, he says, "I have observed numerous cases during the lockdown, and so many persons losing money online, or getting threats or stalked. A few even also lost lives, committing suicide due to cyber attacks.

I want to stop them all. I want to educate people on cybercrimes. There is a need for cyber awareness. That is why I and my wife started this channel. I have extended complete support in making the move a successful one."

'Crime Free India' YouTube channel was launched by P Susheela, who studied in NIT, Warangal, on September 14 this year. Its motto is to create awareness among the people about cybercrimes and other crimes.

Mallesh and Susheela started making videos, explaining about cybercrimes and giving tips and suggestions how to avoid online frauds. The channel has got a huge response in a short time from netizens.

Cybercrimes are increasing day by day. The only option to control the frauds is awareness, says the couple. Explaining the punch line of Crime Free India channel "Avagahana Penchuko - Ninnu Neevu Kapaduko," Susheela says "we need to protect people in society before they turn victims. For that, we need awareness and am providing it for free. We are uploading a video weekly once. We are also available for interaction every Saturday from 7 to 8 pm."

People having any queries related to cybercrimes can join the interactive sessions. They can watch videos on the channel to become aware of cybercrimes.
