Chikkodi : Former minister Ramesh Jarakiholi has expressed concerns on his brother and minister Sathish Jarkiholi in Chief Minister Siddaramaiah's cabinet, suggesting that he facing harassment now.. These remarks were made during a Dussehra program in Nandgaon village, Athani taluk, Belgaum district on Monday night.

Former Minister while addressing the media, noted that he had encountered challenges while serving as minister in Chief Minister Siddaramaiah's cabinet. He referenced his tenure as a rebel within the Congress party, during which some individuals criticized him. However, he stated that those same critics have now gained a more comprehensive understanding of the situation. He did not speculate on the future of the government but emphasized the importance of good governance and cooperation among the 224 MLAs, even in the opposition party.

Jarakiholi commented on the changes observed in Chief Minister Siddaramaiah since 2013, noting a perceived shift in Siddaramaiah's eloquence and efficiency in public addresses. He also said on his own interactions with former minister Jagdish Shettar, acknowledging the latter as a respected figure. The meeting was described as a personal interaction rather than a political discussion.
