Telangana, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh Coronavirus Live Updates: Telangana on Sunday reported 1,967 coronavirus positive cases and 9 deaths due to the deadly virus. The overall positive cases stood at 1,85,833 while the deaths at 1100.
Meanwhile, the total recovery count went up to 1,54,499 with 2,058 recoveries in a single day. At present, there are 30,234 active coronavirus cases in the state out of which 24,607 persons are in home/institutional institution.

Andhra Pradesh news: AP Government assured to provide remuneration for 12 months instead of 10 months for 2020-21 to the contractual lecturers in various colleges, on Sunday.
The Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has agreed to the request of 5,042 contract lecturers working in government Junior Colleges, Polytechnic Colleges, Degree Colleges and Private Oriental Colleges in the State. The office of the chief minister has informed in a Statement that Jagan reacted positively towards giving remuneration for 12 months instead of 10 months for 2020-21.
Concerned authorities would release the required orders to implement this decision as early as possible, sources added.

Andhra Pradesh Latest Updates: AP cabinet to meet on October 1
Andhra Pradesh cabinet is scheduled to meet again on October 1 to take crucial decisions regarding development and public welfare. The meeting will be held on October 1 at the Secretariat in Velagapudi under the auspices of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. The issue of 'free electricity - cash transfer' was discussed at a cabinet meeting held on September 3 this month. It is learned that the cabinet has approved several key decisions like ban on rummy, betting, special focus on road development, approval to APSDC, allotment of land to medical colleges, green signal to north coastal Andhra Sujala Sravanthi Project.
