Modi should get back to business asap

Now, it is no more a wild guess. The cat is out of the bag with the BJP getting an absolute majority in the recently held Lok Sabha elections.

Once again Narendra Modi will be the Prime Minister of the country.

The decisive verdict that the nation stands behind Modi makes India a proud winner.

Pseudo-nationalists/secularists and those 'spitting on the moon' have been vanquished. The Opposition parties' call to the voters, the so-called conscience keepers of the nation, has fallen on deaf ears.

The exercise to trace out the reasons and fix the responsibility have already started. The credibility of the exit polls and opinion surveys has been restored.

However, unlike the last time, the NDA should not waste time on pomp and ceremony. The new government should get down to business right away.

The matters pending since the enforcement of the Model Code of Conduct should be resolved with at the earliest.
