7 jailed for drunken driving

Patancheru: Ten persons, who were caught by the Patancheru Traffic police for drunken driving, were on Monday sentenced by the Second Metropolitan Magistrate Prabhakar to a week's imprisonment.

While seven were fined Rs 2,000 each along with jail term, the others were made to pay only penalty, said CI Venu Kumar.
