A traditional form of art at ICONART gallery, Banjara Hills

ICONART gallery will be presenting Vandana Choudhary's Madhyubani works during an exhibition 'Colours of Mithila'. One of the most ancient and celebrated art forms to come out of the Indian subcontinent is the Madhubani art (Mithila art).

Originating in the district of Madhubani in Bihar this is a style of painting that is only practiced by the women of the Mithila region (modern day Bihar). The preview will be on 5 July at 6.30 pm.
