Bonalu celebrated at Triveni School

Champapet: Bonalu festival was celebrated at Triveni School near Champapet here on Saturday. Several girl students brought the fully decorated traditional Bonam after draping themselves in sarees and half sarees reflecting the true Telangana culture while the boys were seen in Pothu Raju attire adding colours to the festivities.

All the students, irrespective of their religious affiliations, participated in celebrations with great enthusiasm. Many parents accompanied their wards to the school and helped them in organising the celebrations.Prinicipal said that Bonalu, a state festival, was celebrated in the school to protect and preserve the culture for the future generations of the Telangana State.
