Concede just demands of TSRTC employees: CPI

Jeedimetla: The secretary of CPI Qutbullapur division, E Uma Mahesh, on Sunday demanded that the state government take necessary measures to resolve RTC strike and fulfil the just demands of RTC employees. He was speaking here in a protest organised by RTC employees in front of Jeedimetla bus depo on Sunday.

Condemning the government propaganda against the striking RTC employees, Uma Mahesh said that the people were not in the state of believing its false propaganda. In fact, RTC strike was able to garner public support for the strike as people were against threats of dismissal by the CM.

He urged the CM to take necessary measures to resolve the strike as some disillusioned RTC employees were resorting to suicides. Extending the party's full support to the striking employees, he said that the party members would participate in various protests called by the striking RTC employees.

CPI leaders MS Reddy, Harinath, Sudhakar, Venkat Reddy, Chari, Daniel, Gita, Qayyum and others participated in the protest.
