Congress leader and followers join TRS

Secunderabad: Congress spokesperson Balagoni Venkatesh Goud joined TRS party along with his followers at a programme organised here on Monday in the presence of Telangana Labour Minister Malla Reddy. The minister welcomed the Congress leader and his 500 followers into the party.

Speaking on the occasion, Venkatesh Goud said that he joined TRS party as he was attracted towards innovative welfare and development schemes initiated by the CM KCR. He promised to support the party and strive for strengthening of the party. He exuded confidence that TRS party would emerge victorious in the forthcoming municipal elections.

Praising the CM KCR, he said that he would have a permanent place in Telangana history as an able administrator. Among those who joined TRS party include former ward committee members Balagoni Srinivas Goud, Nanapatan Singh, Sudhakar, Suresh Goud, Rajamma, Prameela, Surender Reddy, Sai Reddy and others.
