Cordon and search at Madannapet

Madannapet: Cordon and search operation conducted by Madannapet police at Chandra huts and surrounding areas under Santosh Nagar ACP limits on Wednesday.

According to officials, the cordon and search was conducted by the instruction of Hyderabad city police under the supervision of DCP south zone Amber Kishore Jha. Santosh Nagar ACP SVN Shivaram Sharma was also present during the operation. A total of 100 policemen participated.

Speaking to media persons, DCP Amber Kishore Jha said that during operation, police seized 52 two-wheelers without proper documents and 6 rowdy sheeters were taken into custody and checked their present activities. As many as 6 suspects were also taken into custody who were found to have contacts with criminals.

He also said that to ensure the safety and security of citizens, police conducted this cordon and search operation and he also appeal to the residents to install CCTV camera in their localities, he added.
