Corporator Pavani Reddy asks people not to litter garbage

AS Rao Nagar: Acting on a complaint by residents of Jammigadda, local corporator Pavani Reddy inspected overflowing drainage near Mutyalamma temple on Thursday.

The residents said they have been facing hardships for a week now. She ensured that sanitation workers removed garbage from drainage. Most of the garbage found was plastic. The corporator directed residents not to litter garbage into drain nalas explaining them the consequences of doing so.

She called upon everyone to contribute their part to environment protection by keeping their surroundings clean. Sanitary supervisor Dhan Raj, AE Srinath, work inspector Raju, Sanitary Jawan Dasharath, SFA Aravind, ward member Surender, area member Raju, Goverdhan and residents were present.
