Corporator Pavani Reddy campaigns for cleanliness

Kapra: Dr AS Rao Nagar corporator Pavani Reddy on Tuesday, while supervising collection of scrap material from houses in Lakshmipuram Colony, appealed to people to segregate garbage.

Addressing them, she urged residents not to dump garbage and wastes in front of their houses. Reddy informed that scrap material should be handed over to the GHMC staff, while taking care not to leave it carelessly on roads.

This, Reddy pointed out, was resulting in the colony becoming dirty. "Segregation of wet and dry garbage could lead to prevention of pollution," she stated. The Kapra GHMC staff, colony residents Madhukar Reddy, Madusudhana Rao, Rajender, Manipal Reddy, Balraju, Ravindra Rao, Kumar, Sattayya, Anjayya accompanied the corporator.
