Hyderabad: On Tuesday, Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) received a fresh bomb threat email warning that an explosive device would detonate at one of the terminals.
The threat email arrived at 10:00 AM, prompting immediate security alerts and thorough checks of the airport premises. Authorities urged the evacuation of passengers as a precaution, but the threat was later determined to be a hoax.
This incident follows a recent bomb threat on November 14 linked to a British Airways flight from London to Hyderabad, which also turned out to be false. Security measures remain heightened at the airport as investigations continue.
