Demo of products sans plastic conducted

Serilingampally: A demonstration of products without plastic was conducted by GHMC and SCSC in Phoenix Arena, Hi-Tec City, in connection with the International Children's Day. School students and representatives of voluntary organisations participated.

The British Deputy High Commissioner, Cyberabad Police Commissioner Sajjanar, GHMC Zonal Commissioner DasariHarichandana, were among the VIPs to attend.

They stressed the need for totalban on use of single use plastic so as to protect the environment. They strongly advocated the use of eco-friendly products. The students displayed their painting skills on the occasion. The stalls put up on the occasion attracted wide public attention.
