Deputy Commissioner inspects garbage collection

Malkajgiri: GHMC Deputy Commissioner of Malkajgiri circle Dasharath visited several colonies, bastis and markets to review garbage collection on Sunday.

Later, speaking to sanitation staff, he instructed them to ensure that garbage is collected from every house in the circle to avoid waste dumping on roads. He also urged them to tell people to segregate waste into dry and wet waste before it is collected.

He asked them to identify the colonies where use of plastic is more and take measures to reduce plastic use in such areas. He also advised them to work responsibly so that people would be inspired to participate in cleanliness programmes voluntarily.
