Doctors' Day celebrated

Hyderanagar: Doctors' Day was celebrated on Monday at Holistic Hospital, Nizampet Road with Lok Satta founder Dr Jayaprakash Narayan and Serilingampally MLA Arekapudi Gandhi attending as guests.

Addressing the gathering, Gandhi stated that doctors are akin to gods as they strive to save lives of patients facing serious ailments. In emergency situation, a doctor looks like a god to a patient's relatives, he added.

The MLA appealed to doctors to serve the people and bring light to their lives, while conveying greeting to them to mark the day. Among the doctors who were present there include Ramachandram, Ranga Rao, Vijayalakshmi, the hospital management, staff and TRS leader Uppalapati Srikanth.
