Family and art fraternity pay homage to artist Surya

Eminent artist Surya Prakash passed away at age of 79 on Wednesday. The Hyderabad's art fraternity paid homage to late artist Surya Prakash at a memorial meet held at Daspalla Hotel on Sunday. His family, relatives, well-wishers and friends, attended the meetand offered floral tribute to the artist.

Surya's daughter Arun spoke about the life and journey of the celebrated artist. Professor D Balasubramanian, Dr GN Rao,Rekha Lahoti, Chandana Chakrabarti and Dr Vasanth Kumar shared their memories with Surya.All the attendees who were present were given a print of one of Surya's acclaimed artworks as a memento.
