GHMC officials take out awareness rally

Seethaphalmandi: On the eve of the 'World Environment Day', the GHMC officials took out rallies at Beedala Basti in Seethaphalmandi division on Tuesday. They interacted with the residents for creating awareness against wastage of water and problems on usage of plastic carry bags.

The officials later launched construction work of rainwater harvesting pits near Dhed Lakh building. Among those present were corporator Hema, Water Works Director Vijay Kumar, GHMC Deputy Commissioner G M Rajashekhar , DGM Krishna and his team. SFAs, CRPs, WaLC and SHSH volunteers, RWAs and local residents were also present.
