Heaps of garbage annoy residents

Kowkoor: The garbage dump, located beside the Hanuman Temple here, is causing a major inconvenience to the people. The increasing amount of garbage is affecting humans as well as the animals. Revathi, a resident said, "We have noticed cows munching on plastic from the heaps of garbage."

The narrow roads are already problem for ease of commute. Add to it, the garbage at the dump is overflowing and occupies a part of the road. Rekha, a resident said, "The stench from the garbage is unbearable, and it is very difficult to walk past the garbage."
