Heavy rain wreaks havoc in IT Corridor

Serilingampally: There was sudden heavy rain on Friday evening in Lingampally, Chandanagar, Miyapur, Madhapur, Kondapur and Gachibowli. Several low-lying areas were inundated and main roads were flooded.

A huge tree on the Central University main road was uprooted due to the rain and fell on a two-wheeler rider. He was injured. The other road-users took him to a nearby hospital.
