Govt urged to implement MHA guidelines on human trafficking

Hyderabad: RGI Airport police on Sunday arrested a man implicated in human trafficking and deception.

A Satyanarayana, a resident of Andhra Pradesh's West Godavari district, had enticed a woman, Lankapally Mary, with the prospect of employment in Muscat.

He subsequently defrauded her by furnishing a tourist visa and other fraudulent documents.

Upon questioning at RGI Airport by immigration authorities regarding the purpose of her travel to Muscat, it was discovered that Mary was attempting to travel for work purposes illegally.

The authorities then directed her to the RGI Airport police.

Following a formal complaint, the police registered a case and took Satyanarayana into custody. He has since been remanded.
