Hyderabad: ASI held for sexually abusing Class 10 girl

The police on Saturday arrested an Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) working with the Railway Protection Security Force Maharashtra for allegedly sexually abusing a Class 10 girl for over two years. The accused was identified as Thankachan Lalu alias Lallu Sebastian (47).

He was working as ASI with the RPSF Maharashtra and residing at Anandbagh in Malkajgiri. According to the polcie, the man sexually abused the minor girl who was staying in his colony on several instances in the last two years. The incident came to light when the ‏girl revealed the matter to her parents.

The accused is said to have threatened the girl to dire consequences if she revealed the matter.

On a complaint by the parent of the victim, the police booked a case and arrested him. The police said that the man was earlier arrested in a murder case by the Musheerbad police hree years ago, the man was arrested by the Musheerabad police in connection with a murder case and remanded and the case is under trail.
