Illegal compound wall demolished

Chakripuram: The town planning officials pulled down a compound wall of an illegal layout at Chakripuram near Cherlapally here on Friday. Officials said that permission was not taken for the layout. Locals gathered in large number even as the demolition was taking place.

Mahesh, a resident of Chakripuram said, "There have been several instances in the past six months in the Cherlapally division of illegal layouts." Usually, three to four persons get-together and dupe people. Radhakrishnan, a local said, "Plots are sold to different people and real estate agents dupe the gullible."
