JH post-mortem: KTR summons party leaders to Telangana Bhavan

Hyderabad: The BRS party would be taking up the post-mortem of the Jubilee Hills defeat in a meeting to be held on Wednesday.

Party leaders have been summoned to Telangana Bhavan on Wednesday. The BRS Working President K T Rama Rao would talk to the party in-charges who worked in the Jubilee Hills Assembly constituency to take feedback on what went wrong for the party. The BRS Working President has already said that the party would sit and review the reasons for the defeat.

Earlier, after the results, K T Rama Rao met party chief K Chandrashekar Rao at his farmhouse at Erravelli on Saturday. Sources said the two leaders discussed the reasons behind the loss and the impact it could have on BRS’s organisational momentum. It is said that K Chandrashekar Rao has appreciated the efforts of the BRS leaders in making the election a close contest and asked the leaders to forget about the result and focus on the upcoming local body elections.
