Locals protest against road encroachment

Kushaiguda: Residents of Shiva Sai Nagar staged a protest stating that the encroachers have occupied their colony road. Later, they staged a sit-in in front of Kapra Municipal Office on Monday.

They said that one person was claiming that the land belongs to him. On receiving information, the then MLA Bandaru Raji Reddy directed the officials concerned to survey the land. The officials declared it to be a road and they pulled down a room that was constructed on the road.

Among those who participated in the demonstration were Padma Reddy, Srinivas, Seshu, CPI leader Bose and Ravinder Goud.
