Meet on neonatal care in hyderabad city from tomorrow

Madhapur: The 30th Annual Convention of National Neonatology Forum (NEOCON) will be held from December 13 to 15 by The National Neonatology Forum of India and its Telangana Chapter, at HICC, Hyderabad.

Discussions will be held on how women can avoid health complications for themselves as well as their newborns, preventing low birth weight babies and issues related during pregnancy. Contentious issue such as saving babies born in 26 weeks of gestation is on agenda, said members of the organisation committee.

Panel discussions on controlling infection outbreak in Newborn Intensive Care Units (NICU), lecture sessions on human milk banking, offering counselling to parents after abnormal scan report of their foetus and other topics would be discussed. Theme of this year's conference is 'Striving towards excellence in neonatal care'.
