One killed, 4 hurt in road mishap

Patancheruvu: A person was killed and three others sustained injuries after a goods auto hit the auto rickshaw they were travelling in near Sandvik Asia Pvt Ltd here on Thursday.

The incident took place when four siblings from Hanuman Nagar in Sanga Reddy- Ramesh (50), Raju (45), Anjamma (40) and Lavanya (37) – were on their way to a court in LB Nagar. They had breakfast near ORR and started their journey. A speeding goods auto while trying to overtake their vehicle hit it.

Ramesh had received a severe head injury. He was declared brought dead by doctors at Gandhi Hospital. The other threes and the driver also sustained severe injuries and were shifted to a government hospital in the city. SI Praveen Kumar Reddy registered case.
